Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Financials Business Analyst to support an enterprise-level upgrade project. This is a hands-on role embedded within a dedicated project team focused on CAPPS Financials upgrades.

You will work closely with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements, lead functional review sessions, execute testing, and develop training and documentation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, communicative, and adept in remote collaboration tools, with a strong command of eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Asset Management within PeopleSoft FSCM.

Duties and Responsibilities

Gather, document, and analyze business requirements

Conduct review sessions and present functional analysis to SMEs and stakeholders

Develop test scenarios, scripts, and assist with user acceptance testing

Create training materials and documentation for business users

Perform system integration and external interface testing

Collaborate via Microsoft Teams in a remote work setting

Serve as backup for Accounts Payable, Purchasing, or Supplier Contracts modules

Estimate tasks, set timelines, and communicate progress effectively

Required Experience/Skills

8+ years as a Business Analyst on PeopleSoft FSCM implementation or upgrade projects

8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 eProcurement or Strategic Sourcing

Proven ability to identify requirements and create formal documentation

Experience leading functional work sessions and stakeholder presentations

Strong background in system and interface testing

Proficiency with Microsoft O365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Experience using Microsoft Teams for large team communication

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with public sector entities (Federal, State, or Local Government)

Familiarity with CAPPS Financials

Experience with PeopleSoft AWE (Approval Workflow Engine)

SharePoint, Jira, and STAT experience

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Pay & Benefits Summary

Competitive hourly rate range $70-75/hr on W2

Hybrid work model (remote with some on-site presence in Austin, TX)

Travel reimbursed per State of Texas guidelines (if applicable)
