The Role
The Program Director will oversee and coordinate various software
service projects and initiatives within the company. This role
requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills to
ensure the successful delivery of programs, aligning them with the
company's goals and client expectations. The Program Director will
work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders
to ensure programs are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management: Lead and manage multiple software service
programs from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered
on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for
program management, aligning with the company's goals and
objectives.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor program managers and
project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work
environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for
clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and
ensuring clear communication throughout the program
lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with
program delivery, implementing contingency plans as
necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all programs meet the company's
quality standards and client expectations, conducting regular
reviews and assessments.
- Budget Management: Oversee program budgets, tracking expenses
and ensuring financial accountability.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance
indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and identify areas for
improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous
improvement, encouraging innovation and the adoption of best
practices in program management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's
degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is a
plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in program
management within the software service industry, with at least 5
years in a leadership role.
- Skills:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale software programs and
projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in program management tools and
methodologies.
- Financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
